Communication
I have developed a unique way to communicate through the use of art and play. Verbal communication is not a necessity for me to take a case. This has allowed me to effectively work with non-verbal, non-communicative and autistic children and adults. If this is something that interests you, please advise upon making the appointment so that I can have materials prepared.
A.D.D
I went through school with the challenge of Attention Deficit and I am therefore able to understand the complexity of this gift. This is how I was first introduced to homeopathy myself and I believe that, in addition to my supportive family, having homeopathic treatment is what has helped me to succeed in my goals. I can now share my knowledge with my patients.
Fertility
There are many cases where orthodox medicine cannot discover a physical reason that a couple cannot conceive. This is an area where homeopathy can be very helpful as it will consider all aspects of an individual. I have been able to discover mental and emotional blockages that can interrupt the vital energy of a person, thus inhibiting the physical function. Once treated with a constitutional remedy I have seen great results in the fertility of my patients.
Athletics
I have an extensive background in outdoor recreation, horse riding and coaching, and a variety of other sports. I welcome, and have treated, a variety of sports enthusiasts and professionals. I have researched homeopathic prescriptions to ensure they are safe for use by athletes adhering to World Anti Doping Agency guidelines.
Chronic Pain
This is where Shann's experience with practicing homeopathy began.
There are many times that people experience a trauma, like a car
accident, and have never been well since. Homeopathically speaking,
this indicates a disruption in the vital force, or a imbalance in
the body. A remedy would treat the etiology of this disruption to
force out the imbalance from where it began. There are also many
times that people experience chronic pain without a trauma to explain
where the pain came from. Through the initial interview process
Shann will try to find a link that has caused the pain. It could
be the result of an emotional trauma, or another physical problem
that has resurfaced an manifested itself as chronic pain.
Ionic Detox
I use the ingenuity of the equipment made by FOCUS.
The FOCUS Energetic System ionizes the bath water with the units 'Exciter' submersible water module. When your feet, or body, are immersed in the water during a 35-minute bath, the FOCUS works with the water in your body, activating it, energizing and balancing the meridians.
The FOCUS Energetic Systems process sets up a type of osmoses condition, which draws out toxins within the body. Impurities are pulled from the body, improving the body's natural resilience. There is a noticeable change in the water color from the time the process begins and when the process is complete. What you are actually seeing is the cellular waste present in the water.
As a result, the body as a whole is energized and more in balance. The energy fields are stronger and more free flowing, strengthening the body's immune system. You will feel revitalized, balanced, healthy and ready to enjoy life!Many different colors and objects will appear in the footbath water during the sessions. As best as has been determined, the following list is what seems to indicate: Yellow-green - detoxifying the kidney, bladder, urinary tract, female/prostate area, Orange = detoxifying from the joints, Brown = detoxifying from the liver, cellular debris, tobacco, Black = detoxifying from the liver, Dark green = detoxifying from the gallbladder, White foam = mucous from lymph glands, White cheese-like particles =most likely yeast, Black flecks = heavy metals, Red flecks = blood clot materials.
